Our watch caps are directly inspired from this style of cold weather headwear issued to USN Sailors, Seabees, Merchant Marines and other service members during WWII, and in the decades to follow. The PDW A.G. Watch Cap is made in a premium grade, soft, machine wash & dry, 100% merino sourced from a leading EU based supplier. Unlike other knit beanies being made in the USA today, which are simply tubes sewn closed at one end. Ours are a true fully shaped and knitted process produced on state of the art, computer controlled knitting machines based in California. While the original USN issue stands on its own we created our updated and upgraded interpretation, that is a highly versatile 2+ season weight, superior comfort, easy care, and possess that timeless, and classic appearance. The A.G. Watch Cap is the high standard in American made beanies and will be a goto staple in anyone's wardrobe during cooler to cold months.
The A.G. Watch Caps are the best beanies I have ever worn, no doubt about that, and the OD Green version is the fourth beanie I have purchased from PDW. Having said that, this one was a bit more snug than the three others I currently own and that is not a knock on PDW nor an embellishment, but just a fact. I have accepted that I will have to break this one in. Great quality as always.

Best beanie I own.
I love this beanie. It's such a cool throw back design and being an Army Veteran I can appreciate the throwback to the Navy watch cap. It's super comfortable, jeeps your hear warm without being too warm and it wicks away moisture. This is not just my favorite beanie but the best one I own and I plan on buying the black one as well. Thank you PDW for making such a good product.

These beanies are the best. My gf gets me one every year for Christmas. But Four years ago my girlfriend bought me one of these caps in this color for Christmas, and like an idiot I dried it wrong so it got way too small for my head. So I emailed PDW about ordering a new cap in this color. Sadly they had sold out for the year and didn’t plan on bringing it back. Anyways I promised to buy 10 for myself if they brought the green back. That’s exactly what I did and I couldn’t be happier with my lifetime supply of caps.

Great beanie
Quality materials and a smart design. I have 3 of these beanies in different colors. They keep their shape, regulate temperature, and I’m never too hot nor too cold. I shave my head and these do not itch even directly on my skin.
A classic design, offered in an upgraded design with the best materials. A huge and much needed improvement on the old school, Military beanie.

A.G. Watch Cap Vintage OD Green
This is my third A.G. Watch Cap. I have a black, grey and now O D green. It is my favorite winter cap. I have a pea head and it fits perfectly.
