SPD CAS OTF - Red LTD ED

This Special Projects Division CA.lifornia S.pecial O.ut t.he F.ront is a compact and legal to carry in the state of California, automatic knife. Precision made from aerospace grade T6061 aluminum, 6AL-4V titanium, Böhler M390 blade steel, and best in class Hyperglow. This design reflects an apex of our purpose driven, refined, functional tool aesthetic, design and production ethos at Prometheus Design Werx. Available with a Limited Edition red anodized handle.
  • Overview
    Details make the design. We produce some of the only OTFs on the market with a contoured handle, which requires 3x longer on the CNC to achieve, but the results while subtle, adds to the higher level outcome. We took the time to design this OTF handle where the machine screws were in blind holes so the presentation side was as clean as possible, again another small detail that PDW often is able to integrate into our knife designs. Strategically placed jimping, titanium pocket clip, and a titanium slider with Hyperglow glow ring round out the fine, simple, yet purposeful details. For those who adhere to the philosophy of form follows function, find beauty in finely made edged tools, and demand precision made mechanical objects, the CAS OTF is made for you.

    PDW SPD CAS OTF

    A diminutive and the perfect edc pocket companion. The red is high viz enough when dropped in a pack and the gitd is a nice touch.
