Overview
The Rapide Field Short in Guide Cloth 2.0 is our flagship, field style designed for the wilderness adventurer and international explorer in mind. The updated 4-way stretch nylon fabric is not only high performance from mountain switchbacks, desert dunes, to steamy jungles, but we guarantee you that these are some of the most comfortable field shorts you will wear. The fit is dialed to allow ample legroom for freedom of movement without being billowy or oversized. The legs hit above the knee for ease of leg bending while hiking and moving in the backcountry and steep terrain. Our shorts feature a total of thirteen low profile pockets to stash and organize as little or as many trail and EDC items in a streamlined, clean, utility style. Two custom PDW delta rings allow you to clip in keys or our coil lanyard and dual EDC Tool Pockets on the hand pockets. Our "horse shoe gusset" construction allows for even more freedom of movement while climbing and scrambling. Crafted with industrial grade triple needle stitching on all major seams. More than any other plain front shorts on the market and perhaps overkill for some, but for those who "get it," will appreciate these labor intensive industrial grade construction details.
Our Guide Cloth 2.0 is a 4-way stretch, high tenacity, woven nylon-Spandex blend with C6 DWR. Each feature and component serves a purpose for utility, versatility, movement, and comfort. We source and custom produce best in class textiles, hardware and trims for our apparel, and produce them locally in CA with skilled labor being paid a living wage. Available in Dark Leaf Green.
