Restrictions

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase any edged tools on this website.

By law, all automatics knives will ship only using UPS.

 

Where are PDW products sold?

PDW sells direct to our customers through our website, as well as through an international network of trusted, authorized dealers. Purchasing PDW products only through these channels will ensure that you are obtaining an authentic product, and supported by our warranty program. Currently we do not have a walk-in brick & mortar retail location, but a flagship location in San Francisco will be opened in the future.

Where do you ship to?

PDW ships across the globe to any address with a valid street address via UPS. We also ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS.

PDW ships Monday through Friday within one to three business days of placing your order. Orders are processed in the order they are received.

Orders over $150 ship for free within the Contiguous United States with insurance and confirmation.

Payments

PDW accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

PDW Warranty Policy

All products have a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers all manufacturing defects and workmanship. If you receive a product that is defective, please contact us at support@prometheusdesignwerx.com to receive further instructions. All warranty issues will be handled on a case by case situation, and will either be repaired, exchanged, or the cost will be refunded to you.

    PDW Return, Exchange, and Repair Policy

    If you are not happy with a purchase, please return within 30 days of delivery, with the exception of knives, tools, watches, and other hard goods, which must be returned within 7 days of delivery. All returned merchandise must be returned in new, unused condition in the original packaging. 

    Prior to sending the purchase back, you must contact us at support@prometheusdesignwerx.com so we can facilitate your refund.

    Upon receipt and inspection of your returned item, you will be refunded the full amount for the item in the same form of payment received.  The policy does not include normal wear and tear. For wear and tear issues a fee may be applied. We do not reimburse shipping costs. When shipping is included in the product price, such as those marked "Free Shipping,” or "Qualified for Free Shipping” at the time of purchase, actual shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. If the product is determined to have been used, or is damaged, we will not be able to issue you a refund, and will return the item to you.

    A 10% Restocking fee does apply to custom edge tools, SPD hard goods, and serialized items.

    All refunds are issued in the same form as the original payment.

    In accordance to CA Law any goods returned to PDW for warranty work and/or repair quotes MUST be clean, and free of grit, blood, etc., or you will be charged an appropriate cleaning fee.

    Late or missing refunds

    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.  

    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

    Non-returnable items:

    Any products not returned in their original condition with tags attached

    Worn or used Apparel

    Used and carried knives, watches, and other hard goods

    Used and carried soft goods

    Gift Cards

    Exchanges

    If you received the wrong product from us, please contact us, and we will issue you a pre-paid shipping label and get you the correct item as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience in advance.

    Exchanges must be made within 30 days of receiving the product(s). All returned merchandise must be returned in new, unused condition in the original packaging. Please complete the merchandise return form and a copy of your receipt when shipping the purchase back to us. If you are exchanging for an item of lesser value, you will be refunded the difference in cost, minus shipping costs. Exchanges for items of equal or greater value will not be subject to additional shipping costs.

    Where are your products made?

    PDW believes in investing in our local and national economy as much as possible. We always look for domestic sources whenever available. Our first priority is to create and deliver the best in class products possible and seek the top manufacturing partners worldwide to meet those ends. Many of our core products are made in the United States.
