What fabric is the Raider Field Pant Canvas+ made from?
The Canvas+ fabric is an 11oz blend of 98% cotton canvas and 2% Spandex. The cotton canvas delivers the rugged durability and substantial hand feel of a purpose-built hard use pant; the Spandex provides freedom of movement without the look or feel of a stretch fabric. Pocket liners are brushed 100% cotton twill.
Do the Raider Field Pants have EDC pockets?
Yes. As a purpose-built EDC pant, the Raider Field Pant Canvas+ features dedicated tool pockets sized for today's folding knives, multi-tools, and compact flashlights — plus a coin trap pocket inside the main hand pockets, a hide-away pocket behind the rear waistband, and custom no-twist delta-ring clip points for keys and small accessories. Ample storage without a cluttered or bulky silhouette.
How does the fit compare to standard field pants for men?
PDW offers two fits for the Raider: Tailored Fit (T-Fit) and Regular Fit (R-Fit). The Canvas+ PN uses the Tailored Fit — more streamlined and tapered than the Regular Fit, closer to a modern slim straight than a traditional boxy work pant. A diamond-shaped gusset and double-reinforced articulated knees deliver the mobility you would expect from purpose-built articulated knee work pants, without the baggy cut.
Will the canvas shrink after the first wash?
The Canvas+ fabric is pre-washed, but there is an estimated 3% vertical shrinkage after the first home wash and dry cycle. PDW accounts for this by cutting inseams approximately 1 inch longer than marked. After your first wash and dry, inseams will be true to the labeled length.
What sizes does the Raider Field Pant come in?
Waist sizes run from 29 to 40 inches. Inseam lengths are available in 30, 32, and 34 inches. PDW uses true waist measurements — measured from the inside of the pant when laid flat and then we add 1" to size to your actual waist, not a pants size that runs 2 inches larger as most big box brands do.
