The Argonaut Boardshort is designed to be highly versatile and while terrific in the water, is also right at home around town and even on the trail. Three carefully considered zippered pockets keep your core EDC items secure during high impact activities while remaining low profile. Extra functional details include internal coin pockets, slipjoint pockets, and a dummy cord in the back pocket for a keeping a key out of the way when in the water. The mini-cordage clip points offer convenient anchor points for attaching a mini-carabiner for around-town keys or our Mini Coil Lanyard to secure your favorite pocket light. With the low profile classic waist tie and horseshoe gusset, we find these shorts great for backpacking and often find ourselves wearing these on the trail. 

The Argonaut Boardshort features our custom milled All Terrain Cloth. This technical fabric is the lightest we offer, yet is durable, long wearing, dries quickly, and has 4-way stretch for maximum movement and comfort during any activity.

The Argonaut Boardshort design includes our unique Clip Dock detail which is specifically for indexing a folder pocket clip to carry IWB. Adhering to the more minimalistic philosophy of boardshorts where the wearer is dialed more towards a lightweight, uncluttered, unencumbered mode, our shorts, while incorporating more EDC functionality, we encourage the use of lower profile and streamlined kit with these shorts. Carrying a low profile folder, such as the rustproof models from our friends over at Terrain 365, allows the folder to be snug against the body and keeps it out of the way when paddling out for a session at your favorite break. For those who want something an even smaller and even lower profile carry, our shorts feature a specific slipjoint pocket inside the mesh pocket liners.
