I purchased this stout and well made pouch to outfit my pack for its preferred use. Which is to carry my fishing gear into the Sierra backcountry as well as extended hikes in my local mountains. Upon receiving the canteen pouch I immediately bought a proper army canteen which as expected fits perfectly. All said and good but the greatest surprise and now it’s dedicated function is to carry two 1 pint cans of strong ale. It fits two of these tall cans perfectly. Glad I purchased it!
