The SPD Pocket Stone is a handy and compact hone to sharpen your edged tools. Coming in at 0.25" x 1" x 3" (7mm x 25mm x 75mm), this pocket sized sharpening stone is a no brainer to have in your EDC tool kit. The industrial diamond side is 800 grit (25 microns) and the ceramic side is 4000 grit (5 micron).
The classic size of the SPD Pocket Stone is designed to fit anywhere the "DC3" stone size will. A perfect companion to the SPD X Wilson S.A.F.E. System 1 Scout Knife. It will also fit into most Randall style sheaths with stone pockets as well. Comes packed in a presentation black leather slip pouch with a rough out backside which is can be used as a mini strop pad.
I like the combination of the diamond sharpener with the fine ceramic and then the back of the leather case is used as a final hone. Nicely made and thought out. Similar to the old Spyderco Double Stuff sharpener.

Great small sharping stone ! Perfect size for a pack or pocket.. excellent quality, great leather sheath too!, only quarrel is, wish the sheath was all black like the front, but that’s me.. overall great !!!!! Keep up the great work!

Cool little stone, nice design. Price definitely reflects the quality. The corners on the stone I received were slightly higher than the flat portion, causing an inconsistent sharpen. The smooth side also has some pitting and is much more abrasive in that single spot. Definitely a useful field stone none the less and I’ve used it a few times already. Just expected it to be a bit nicer coming from PDW, but again it’s cheap, and it’s a cheap stone. Either way, I’m not unhappy with it and have touched up a few edges already. Thanks team.
