Overview
The PDW Road Warrior 45L duffel is a rugged, weather resistant, general purpose bag for overlanding, travel, expeditions and those who revel in a life on and off the road as a modern nomad. This version features a variation of the Vietnam War era Tiger Stripe camo pattern. The 45L size is perfect for well packed 3 day trips or as part of a larger multi-bag load out along with our ZCaB-AW-XL for extended journeys and expeditions. Two easy attach/detach padded shoulder straps allows for carrying loads conveniently like a backpack when needed and 2 sturdy hand straps allow for a more traditional carry. Available in Vietnam War Era Tiger Stripe camo.

The Road Warrior 45L is made with rugged 1000D tarpaulin material, features weather resistant construction, MILSPEC webbing, easy to grab large zipper pulls, rows of daisy chain loops to clip on keys to carabiners, and heavy duty YKK nylon coil zippers.

This style of duffel features a removable padded shoulder straps and a padded carry handle for multi carry-haul options, plus two haul loops at each end for ease of moving it in and out of vehicles to your staging areas. Two external zipper accessory pocket securely keeps small items at the handy when you are on the go, and a loop panel to swap our your favorite rips.

In 2016, PDW began lining the interior of our packs and bags with in our signature Flame Orange color. The reasons we did this was two-fold; to allow users to more easily see the contents inside and when turned inside to be used to a high visibility marker to signal SAR in cases of emergency. This design detail made good sense, and the growing popularity of this same feature being used by other brands demonstrated its obvious usefulness. The interior of our tote also features zippered mesh pocket with key clip under the top flap for even more organization.

This variation features our own custom reproduction of variant of a Vietnam War Era Tiger Stripe camo pattern popularized by units specializing in unconventional warfare during this period. This camo pattern was typically printed in-country and locally sewn into battle fatigues used by US units, resulting in many variations on this theme.

The Road Warrior family of duffels is made for the traveller, so how handy would it be to include an extra quick cinch top storage bag that could be used to stow an extra pair of shoes to dirty laundry. This is every bit a PDW duffle. Excessive attention to detail and making sure the critical fail points of lesser bags aren’t even a factor here. For those looking for a more traditional duffle carry, just remove one backpack strap and cross-orient the remaining one and let out some excess tail…voila, problem solved. The included extra zipper pulls in blaze orange really pop against the dark exterior that is the Tiger Stripe camo, offering immediate indexing to get to your gear fast and reliably. Bombproof, great looking, and the perfect overnighter size for those of us with a few other pieces of PDW/SPD gear to tote along. Bravo on another banger fellas!

Off road recovery gear bag

I use mine to store some off road recovery gear and it fits a good amount of stuff. Bag feels sturdy and I like the option to change the pull tabs to orange. It’s honestly pretty expensive, but a cool bag. Could you get something cheaper that functions the same? Probably. Will it be as cool? Nope.

It sets you free

What I mean is that the limited space of 40L reeeeeally makes you think of what you REALLY need rather than what you want to bring. Impeccably made, maybe the best looking stitches on a bag I’ve seen. If you know you need it, I’d get it. Totally worth it.

Knocked one star off for this reason and this reason alone.

Bag is near perfect…. love that the backpack straps can be removed very easily.
Bag holds the majority of its shape when unloaded which is a huge plus so you are not fighting it as you load it.
ONLY negative and this is this… The straps that make the carry handle are way too long, they could be 3" shorter and it would have been ample.

Awesome Bag

Wonderful bag, with a sweet camo pattern. If you had the previous model, this has a small hook and loop field for patches and swag, so definitely a plus. I really love these bags, and am very happy PDW decided to bring them back!
