Overview
The Ti-FS Micro is one of the most compact, capsule type, titanium, survival lighters ever produced for starting campfires to backpacking stoves. Precision milled from 6AL-4V titanium billet. The Micro features a milled grip pattern inspired by the classic WWII era grenade, which makes this capsule lighter easy and secure to grasp in cold and wet conditions. The Ti-FS Micro features a milled grip pattern inspired by the classic WWII era grenade, which makes this capsule lighter easy and secure to grasp in cold and wet conditions.

PARATUS

The Ti-FS Micro uses the classic, tried and true "flint wheel" and wick method of ignition, along of course with the appropriate fuel. The wick through capillary action draws the fuel up and the flint wheel creates the spark to ignite the fuel. This type of lighter uses standard lighter fluid available in any hardware store, but also if the situation demands it; unleaded automotive gasoline, jet fuel, white gas, and liquid stove fuel. The o-ring seal prevents evaporation of the fuel over time, but we certainly recommend a freshen up of fuel before any trip outdoors.

Every Ti-FS Micro comes packaged in a signature PDW "gift tin". To extended the usefulness of our packaging, these metal boxes can be reused to store any number of related items such as tinder, foraged pine resin/processed rosin, or even create your own pocket survival kit.

I just opened this now, and fiddled with it a bit to get familiar with the function and feel. This is an amazing little lighter. it is quite small, even for me and my hands are small, and took a few minutes to find the strat to open it one handed. its that small. My indended use for this is a backup flame when my main runs out, which is small enough to be a keyring accessory for my wallet chain EDC tools. Great durability, amazing satisfaction holding and feeling the frag design. its a bit expensive for such a small lighter, but with materials, proper care, and making sure you wont lose it, will well serve you in what you pay for here. I could see others powder coating or anodizing this. Titanium is an amazing metal, making this product with it makes me rate 5 stars. I just wish the company would reach back out to consumers, as I emailed about this, but never heard anything back. But thank you PDW for the mighty little friend with me on my journeys !
