Our newest DRB Scout Knife RL features a total of 8 tools, making this one versatile and capable multi-bladed slipjoint. The addition of the wood saw makes this knife more bushcrafty in usability, and it even features a hobo fork for you know, just in case you want to eat that corned beef or baked beans once you've opened the can. After the closure of the Pennsylvanian knife making facility who made our first scout knives, it took a few years for PDW to find a worthy new partner. We are now working with Italian knife manufacturer Mercury Srl, based in historic Maniago ("City of Knives"), Italy.

8 Tools 9 Functions
Our newest DRB Scout Knife RL features a total of 8 tools and 9 functions, making this one versatile and capable multi-bladed slipjoint.
Modern Classic
Micarta is a warmer handle material made with layers of linen fabric bonded together with phenolic resins. The main blade features our classic Danger Ranger Bear graphic etched on to the surface.
Phillips Driver Not Corkscrew
We also made the useful upgrade of adding a Phillips driver in place of the corkscrew. Would you rather use your scout knife to open a bottle of wine, or use a Phillips driver to tighten or loosen a screw? Yeah, we thought so, the latter is far more useful on a day to day basis.
Hobo Fork
The DRB Scout Knife RL even features a hobo fork for you know, just in case you want to eat that corned beef or baked beans once you've opened the can. Comes in pretty handy for fruit too. Could be used to roast a marshmallow for s'mores in an emergency.
Made in Italy

Danger Ranger Bear
Look for the DRB logo on exclusive products in the PDW website to purchase, use or wear and show off that you’re no longer an ignorant, doughy tenderfoot. Take the moose by the horns (actually a really terrible idea, DRB does not suggest that you do this but it was a play on another ol’ idiom), turn that hipster beard into mountainman scruff, lace up those hiking boots, hit the trail, walk as tall as Paul Bunyan, tune in with nature like John Muir, and be rough and ready as Jeremiah Johnson. #dangerrangerbear
Great materials. Great price. Lightning fast shipping! Great job PDW! Thank you.

You need this knife.
I like this one so much I bought THREE. This knife is heirloom quality and the usefulness of the tools is limited only by your imagination. I've carried many SAKs for years but this knife hits all the tools that you need daily and don't worry about rotating your SAK configurations in and out. Everytime I use it, I get asked about it. It's not just a knife. It's a tool I hope my grandson or granddaughter will use someday.

5 Star Knife / 4 Star Scales
Good news - The knife is fantastic. Very good quality; better than my SAK Huntsman. The tools seem more substantial and more robust. The combination of tools is better than in my Huntsman. The screwdriver is a great add and works well. The real improvement is the fork. You can't get that in any other similar SAK and it is really useful. Now, the bad news - the micarta scales are too smooth. High quality and extremely well finished, but any moisture makes them feel really slick. I love the color, but if I had it to do over again, I would buy the version with the stag scales to insure a better grip on the knife. If this knife came with a version of the "plus scales" with the tweezers, tooth pick, ink pen, and stick pin it would be a 6 star! I have carried this knife everyday since I received it and don't see that ending; it's that useful. If you carry a SAK you know what it's capable of; this version is better. Great job PDW!

Very nice sak style knife.
I love a good sak and this knife is better than most sak knifes in many ways. It's got a very good steel for the main blade, the fit and finish is top notch and the chamfering of the edges on the main blade feels great. The od green linen micarta is very good looking and feel great in hand. It also has a very useful set of tools and I love that it has a hobo fork, that's what perked my intrest in this knife and everything else is what made me buy it.
