Overview
The SPD Ti-BarT is a capable, elegant pocket pry bar built for the everyday tasks your folding knife shouldn't have to handle. CNC machined from billet 6AL-4V titanium, it packs a full set of EDC functions into a slim profile designed to ride alongside your favorite folder.

Fine jimping, recessed hardware, chamfered edges, and graceful angled planes carry the same production standard as the rest of the SPD line. It's a tool built to be carried daily, not just admired in a drawer.

The Ti-BarT is comprised mostly of 6AL-4V titanium but also features a ceramic ball bearing contact point in the pocket clip which allows for effortless pocket draws.

Of course no pry bar is ever complete without the prerequisite bottle cap lifter for bottled microbrews or Jarritos. We also feature an oxygen tank wrench took for those who may use or need to access oxygen tanks for those in EMS/healthcare to athletes and climbers operating at high altitudes.

What titanium grade is the Ti-BarT made from, and why does it matter?

The Ti-BarT is CNC machined from billet 6AL-4V titanium, the same aerospace-grade alloy used throughout the SPD line. It offers a strength to weight ratio that keeps the tool light in the pocket without flexing or fatiguing under real pry loads, and it resists corrosion far better than a standard steel tool.

Will the Ti-BarT fit a standard pocket clip carry alongside a folding knife?

Yes. The Ti-BarT includes its own titanium billet pocket clip with a ceramic ball bearing, so it clips into the same pocket as a folding knife without adding bulk or interfering with the knife's own clip.

What is the bit socket size, and does it work with standard 1/4" driver bits?

The Ti-BarT has an integrated 1/4" / 6mm bit socket built into the body, so it accepts standard 1/4" hex driver bits for quick fastening tasks in addition to its prying and opening functions.

Can the Ti-BarT open bottles and pry without damaging the finish?

Yes. The bottle cap lifter and pry bar edges are built into the tool's geometry, chamfered and finished to the same standard as the rest of the piece, so routine use doesn't chip or mar the finish the way an improvised tool would.

Didn’t know...

I bought the Ti-BarT out of curiosity. There’s a hundred pry bars out there, but this one was just cool. Then it was delivered and I discovered how useful it is. It’s cutting down on wear and tear on my knife quite a bit. And it goes places that my knife isn’t allowed to. On top of being titanium, it’s also a bit beefy, so I don’t have any question that it will hold up to daily use. Thanks.

This thing is fantastic. Very strong, I mean VERY strong and the edges are a bit sharper than I expected which it a good thing. It's definitely worth the price. I love it but I'm really scared of losing it, the clip seems a little looser than I would like and I've already caught it slipping out of my pocket. I'm probably going to need to carry it in my bag, I'm sure it will disappear if I don't.

Outstanding Ti Pry

I find myself ordering more and more PDW items as time passes. Everything I get from Prometheus is of the utmost quality, and this new titanium pry bar is no different. Not only is it lightweight and multifunctional, but it looks cool and is easy to carry, too. I find myself using it for tasks that I would have normally retrieved my Leatherman for; and now I’ve begun to carry this prybar in my EDC bag. For the price, quality and usefulness, I can’t recommend this enough. Another stellar tool by PDW.

Fantastic Folder EDC!

The Design, Ergonomics, quality of built and materials is top notch! It feels better in the hand that some of my much more expensive knifes, the pictures do not make justice of how nice this knife is.
