Ti-HDR Strap 20mm - Black

The PDW Ti-HDR Strap is a heavier duty, modified version of the classic, military issue, nylon watch strap. This version features the classic double strap layer "NATO-type" construction, heavier duty, custom made titanium rings and buckle, with a sturdy, thicker, yet pliable and comfortable nylon strap. Fits watches with 20mm width lugs.

  • Overview
    The classic NATO or "G10" strap originally entered service in 1973 with the British Ministry of Defence. It was made with a thin nylon strap and came with chrome plated brass buckles and "ring" keepers. PDW built up from this baseline and used heavier gauge titanium in the rings and buckles for total corrosion resistance on land or under the sea, and 100% non-magnetic as to not interfere with the strap worn compasses such as our EWB-Compass Kit. With the proliferation of rare earth magnets being used in today's bags, wallets, key fobs, and other EDC items, we found that these magnets affected the typical stainless rings used in most NATO type straps on the market. Not only are rare earth magnets harmful to the internal mechanics of a fine mechanical watch, the magnetized stainless steel rings affected any compasses used as supporting accessories on a watch strap. Our Ti-HDR Strap eliminated magnetic interference and offers superior performance and durability in the field.

    If you want the good stuff….

    If you want the good stuff for EDC or whatever you need to reach for when you get up everyday, PDW is my first place to start. You never have to worry about if it works as promised or not, and I’ve never been disappointed. High end quality, design and value. Even as old school as I can be (have worn a non-digital wrist watch for a long long time, and will never change), they make me look high tech. Best regards as always, TDH

    Phenomenal Strap

    I've tried a bunch of different brands of these, on the hunt for the perfect NATO strap. I'm very particular. This strap is by far the most comfortable one I've purchased. If I had to make a recommendation, it would be to put the buckle from the squared off titanium strap on this, rounded strap. I prefer the rounded keepers, but the buckle more traditional. Anyway, I'm gonna rock this one as my daily driver for a long time. Good work PDW! I'll make it a five star review if you send me the traditional buckle to replace the rounded one 😉.

    Great NATO band

    This is my 3rd PDW NATO watch strap. I always replace any cloth watch bands with PDW NATO straps, they are comfortable, durable and stylish.

    Comfortable, rare titanium rings

    Just the right belt thickness. A bit too long for 17 cm wrist that I had to cut it.

    Perfect strap for my diver

    I got this strap for my CWC SBS, fits very well, the hardware are made of titanium and the strap feels soft and supple, extremely comfortable on the skin. One of the loop is engraved with "PDW" with a small triangle logo on the side which is a very nice touch. Dont have to worry about your watch getting magnetized too as all the metal parts are titanium. Might get another exact same strap if I managed to snag myself a Sangin Neptune.
