Premium Upgrade
for 58mm Classic SD

The SAK Classic SD is the most popular 58mm model. The assortment of basic tools are very useful on a daily basis and in one of the most compact form factors available. You might find yourself using this SAK more often than your primary folder. From the Phillips driver to the bottle cap lifter and nail file, those are some of the tools you'll find yourself using more than you think. Level up and upgrade the SAK Classic SD with our excellent titanium replacement scales.

Do it Yourself

These are intended as a permanent DIY replacement for the factory scales. These are precisely machined to match the brass ferrules of a 58mm SAK and should easily snap-to-fit into place by hand, or vice or clamps with a piece of leather to pad the jaws. We highly recommend a tiny dab of super glue gel inside each pocket of the titanium scales. DO NOT over glue as you may potentially glue the pen slot shut.

Self Reliance

Install with caution, know what you are doing, know how to operate your tools safely. Modification of your 58mm type SAK are done so at your own risk. Prometheus Design Werx, INC is not to be held responsible for any damage to your SAK and the titanium scales during installation. Please watch video below for step by step installation instructions of the 91mm version; the process is very similar (skip pocket clip section). Please email us with ANY questions you might have before proceeding. We are happy to offer any advice and tips we can.

Signature Fullered Pattern

These Ti-SAK scales for the 58mm Classic SD feature our signature fullered pattern. An industrial tool aesthetic where form follows function, providing in this case, a purposeful tactile grip and handling improvement to the otherwise smooth surface.

It's in the Details

The details make the design. From the dive-watch grade GID dot inlay to the precision milling work of the titanium billet, our Ti-SAK Scales are the best quality of make.

Perfect Fit

These Ti-SAK Scales are perfectly fitted to the 58mm Classic SD. Our precise tolerances in the titanium scales are very high and these will snap fit onto the SAK. However, for a more permanent fit, we recommend a tiny dab of super glue gel in each of the inside pockets before snapping these on. Make sure to keep the toothpick and tweezer slots clear when doing so.

EDC

These are truly great mods for your 58mm Classic SD. Packed in die cut EVA foam and a metal gift tin, these are sure to stoke not only yourself but any EDC fan in your orbit.

Almost Perfect SAK Upgrade

The bead blasted finish is really nice. The fullers give you a good grip on a small SAK and install them was easy. The one issue I have is with the slots for tweezers and toothpick. It’s very hard to get the toothpick and tweezers in and out. I have the same issue with the PDW G10 scales 91 mm too. So i think it’s a design or manufacturing issue. Other than that great upgrade for your SAK.

Great Scales with a Caveat

The scales are awesome and fit snug on the SAK. However, less than 24 hours after getting them and installing the glow dot fell out which was very disappointing considering the price. Ended up super gluing it back in (crooked unfortunately).

Hi Braden, sorry to hear what happened. Please know that we would have been happy to swap the scales out for you. The GID dots are set in with industiral strength adhesives and this was certainly a fluke. Contact our CS team support@pdw.life if you would still like to have a replacement set sent out to you. Best regards!

Scale swap

Easy to swap. Pry off the old - slap on the new. recommend using a table vise.

Scales are great. Adds a little bit of thicc*ness to the lethargic OEM knife
