We sourced the Melton Wool used in the making of this modern classic from an American supplier who has been offering this fabric since 1915. No melt-no drip, insulates when wet, quiet and wears year after year. The chest pockets are sized to fit most non-plus sized smartphones and has one pen-pencil slot for when you use this shirt in the workshop. Double reinforced elbows keeps the typical wear points more durable, a touch borrowed from vintage US Navy type work shirts of a different era, and engineered single arm-side panel construction allow for freedom of arm movement unlike other button up shirts being made today. Great shirt for those who like to spend time outdoors. I was surprised by how soft the shirt was. I expected a bit of a stiffer wool but it has a soft and lofted feel as opposed to many wool shirts out there. Of the 12ish wool shirts and shirt jacs that I have this is the only heavyweight wool shirt I'd wear next to the skin.
5'11 180 and both the medium and large fit well. The medium is trim but doesn't limit movement. The large gives a little more room and is probably more practical for use in the woods... but the fit isn't boxy, either.

As Advertised!
Received the shirt in good order. I was a bit skeptical but this shirt is the real deal. Very nice, well made and of substantial weight, but not too heavy. As others mentioned there is no sizing chart so I gambled and ordered a Large... Too big... have to return it. Thankfully the Medium was still available and ordered it. Medium should fit perfect. For reference: 5'7" 155 lbs.

Great wool overshirt
This is a very well made piece. The wool feels great, the buttons are substantial. It feels like it will last a lifetime. I took a gamble on the size as I didn't see a size chart anywhere, but I'm 5'8" and 190 and large size is absolutely a perfect fit. Very happy with this purchase.
