Each of the pouches mount securely on the tri-fold base with hook & loop and toggle anchors. The user can easily swap out the pouch to suit their needs and task at hand. The 3 included pouches are organic undyed cotton, poly mesh and 500D Cordura. Each pouch features a one-handed shock cord cinch top skirt. Cool idea and the bags are nice, but practically impossible to cinch closed with both hands, let alone just one. That weak cord is going to fail early- already sketchy. Too bad when the rest is so overbuilt. Disappointing.

Ok, but.....
A simple design improvement would be loops on the actual bags for the shoulder strap. Currently, the molle or PAL connection must be completely undone to utilize the straps making the molle webbing useless/pointless.
Hi Ben, not quite sure what you mean by 'loops on the actual bags for the shoulder strap'? Rest assured we have obvious D-ring 'loops' to easily and directly attach the shoulder strap to the bag. Undoing the MOLLE/PALs connection is completely unnecessary to attach the shoulder strap. Great pouch for mushroom foraging
I cannot wait to use this in the spring when I forage for mushrooms in the Pacific Northwest. I also like the fact that it came with 3 separate styles of pouches as well.
