The Raider Field Short NYCO is a best in class, made in the USA, wilderness field short. Expertly made in a classic, US MILSPEC 5050 NYCO ripstop legacy fabric. This is one of the most durable fabrics in its weight class and will last season after season. With many considerations for today’s user and the EDC tribe, there are 13 low profile pockets in a clean utility-purpose driven styling, and without creating a cluttered or bulky design. Like most of our designs, we use industrial grade construction methods such as heavy duty nylon thread, triple needle stitching on major seams, and more bar-tacks to reinforce stress points than any other short in its class. The cut and silhouette is a tailored regular fit in keeping with its understated and streamlined appearance, yet a fully capable intent. The Raider Field Short NYCO is equally at home in the field, behind the wheel of your 4x4, jungle trekking, adventure travel, or a summer getaway at the cabin. Design highlights include no-twist custom d-rings, horseshoe gusset, diamond double seat, dedicated knife-multitool pockets, work wear style hand pockets which are accessible when using a pack waist or utility to first line belt, a Hide-Away pocket to stash those little "extras". PDW slotted parasmock type no-loss buttons, and reinforced double layer seat. Designed and built to last in California USA.
These are great, and with the number of pockets I can keep things nicely organized without the usual billowing cargo pockets I'm used to. I really, really like the tool pocket.

Best Shorts EVER
They are simply the best possible shorts. If the plethora of perfectly designed and located pockets isn't enough. The material is a very nice canvas-like rip-resistant material, It doesn't stretch much but does have elasticity in its weave. The fit is excellent and while standing they just hit the knee, The style allows for a great range of motion without material binding so its unlikely you'll blow out the crotch easily. All around they are the best you could ask for, The pocket are deep, The materials and stitch quality is all excellent, These will not disappoint. I've been complimented on my shorts...Seriously when was the last time someone approached you about some shorts?

Perfect fit.
This is my 3rd and 4th pair of shorts along with 2 pairs of pants. These are so well made and fit perfectly. I really do appreciate the effort to design and manufacture such quality products. Keep up the good work and thanks again.

Fantastic Shorts--Comfortable, clean lines, and low profile
Love these "cargo" shorts. Ive always disliked the big floppy cargo pockets on shorts, and the pocket structure is super useful for EDC while staying streamlined and kind tactical-lite visually. Of course you can spice it back up with the patch points. I ordered a couple of these, and if they came in more colorways (SYTH BLACK PLEASE) I would buy some more!
