The SPX Pouch (Gen2) is designed to hold most of today's smartphones, features an extra internal divider to stash a power bank so you can charge on the fly, and a lowpro accessory pocket to store a charging cable. This version also features the popular Fidlock V-Buckle for securing the flap closed and is easy to "pop" open. We created this pouch so the user could easily access their smartphone while on the go without the annoyance of it being a weight banging around in your pant or short pocket when hiking, climbing or any active pursuit. The 500D Cordura construction is lined in our signature Flame Orange 140D ripstop nylon. Available in Universal Field Gray. #spxpouch
When in the wilderness and backcountry, one of the joys of being there is being unplugged. That said, smartphones are today's most used method of digital photography and used frequently as such when adventuring and exploring the outdoors. The SPX Pouch is ideally positioned on a pack shoulder strap so your smartphone is quickly accessible to capture those great moments with your pals, beautiful views, the stunning sunset, or the amazing off chance you bump into bigfoot and can have proof to show it. The pouch is sized and designed to hold both your smartphone and power bank. The MCA (MOLLE Compatible Array) on the back of this pouch in conjunction with our HAL1 Straps™ allows for variety of horizontal and vertical mounting options.
PDW - You guys know how to elevate a simple product, its very clear that a great deal of thought went into the design, manufacture and finish of this pouch - Kudos, Keep it going...

Hope for a restock!!
This is my third SPX pouch, other two are Ranger Green. I use the RG ones on my Hazard 4 Flip water bottle carrier while fly fishing. They are perfect size for fly boxes, Cliff bars and what ever else is needed. I know they were designed for cell phones and accessories but my new cell phone doesn't fit well in it 🤗🤗. Tough material, strong stitching, love the magnetic clasp for ease of opening/closing. The SPX Pouch, Accessory Pods and Tool Pouches are all on my Hazard 4 Flip water bottle carrier being put to good use. Maybe PDW should come up with their version of a water bottle carrier.....yes I know about the canteen carrier, I'm talking round Nalgene style bottles. With attachment points for the above mentioned items.

Exactly what I was looking for
This, for me, is the perfect EDC pouch. I'm not currently using it for my phone. Instead it is loaded out with my Leatherman multitool, Olight, Moleskine notebook, pen, wallet and mini business cards. It frees up all my pockets (except for my phone) and I can switch from pant to pant easily. Especially because I use a separate buckled strap so it doesn't have to go through my belt loops and I can use it even when wearing shorts. I like not having a zip as the latch is much quicker. The only criticism is that the buckle is silver instead of black as shown the picture, but that is so minor it's not a bother. Great product. I wish I hadn't missed the black Cardiology version.
Great to see more uses from this pouch, thank you for sharing!

Buckle is backwards
Porch is well constructed and sized as I had hoped but the buckle is not setup correctly. Pull tab and adjustment needs to be on the flap portion with the bottom secured to the bucket of the pouch. As it is now the adjustment is on the bottom and hangs low when not secured and the pull tab being upside down slacks out the adjustment each time you go to use it.
That is your opinion. If the buckle was oriented the way you described, the excess webbing to tighten the buckle would always be flopping downwards over the buckle and we thought in this way, it would be in the way.
