The SPD Ti-MNPara Strap is inspired directly from the original French Navy (Marine Nationale) combat diver's versions as first worn in the 1960-70s. Ours feature all titanium hardware and best grade nylon-Spandex strapping. One of the most comfortable and adjustable watch straps made today. Fits watches with 20mm width lugs. Works with any watch that has removable spring bars. #timnpara
During the 1960s, the French Navy combat divers saw a need to securely wear and adjust their dive watches, but did not find anything quite suitable for their needs available at that time. Repurposing elastic nylon strapping from military issue parachute rigging and forming some bits of metal hardware, came up with this (originally handmade) design. PDW built up from this baseline and used the best available nylon with Spandex (far more durable and resilient than generic elastics) strapping, 100% titanium in the rings and clasp for total corrosion resistance on land or under the sea, and 100% non-magnetic as to not interfere with the strap worn compasses such as our EWB-Compass Kit. With the proliferation of rare earth magnets being used in today's bags, wallets, key fobs, and other EDC items, we found that these magnets affected the typical stainless hardware as used in most other types of straps on the market. Not only are rare earth magnets harmful to the internal mechanics of a fine mechanical watch, the magnetized stainless steel hardware affected any compasses used as supporting accessories on a watch strap. Our Ti-MNPara Strap eliminated magnetic interference, offers superior performance, total corrosion resistance and durability in the field.
Great watch strap but too expensive and slow shipping to Canada
The watch strap is very well built, fits perfectly and looks great on my titanium watch.
Unfortunately I had to pay $19 for shipping to Vancouver and I waited 3 weeks to arrive from San Francisco.
I still recommend this watch strap because of the good quality and appearance.
Thanks!

Difficult To Seriously Use
I purchased this brand of strap primarily for the titanium hardware. It is difficult and awkward to use rendering it as more of a novelty rather than a useful product. The materials appear to be first class though but does not redeam the poor design.
Gill, we acknowledge your personal opinion on these straps. However, please note the thousands of folks that have used these types of straps and their many functional variants from the French Navy original, for decades without issue or hassle, and with great success. C'est pas croyable! Ah well, sorry that this didn't work out for you. Cheers.

Awesome just make sure you put it on right.
I like the strap. but at first, funny enough I didn’t put the band on correctly. Instead of putting my hand through the bracelet I wrapped it around my wrist. So I suffered a couple of days until I finally decided to do some research and realized I was wearing it completely wrong. Once I started wearing it correctly man o man I tell you it was a dream of a bracelet, just what I wanted, a low profile black band for my (Tudor Black bay 58) wrist watch. I can wear this all day all night with no discomfort at all. Its also very slim around the wrist giving it a nice elegant utilitarian look. 10/10 would recommend.

Nice Strap
Way less confusing than these other NATO straps. Another quality product from PDW!
