The PDW Ti-Ring Strap is an updated version of the classic, military issue, nylon watch strap. Our modern version features heavier duty, custom made titanium rings and buckle, with a sturdy, thicker, yet pliable and comfortable nylon strap.
The "NATO" or "G10" strap originally entered service in 1973 with the British Ministry of Defence. It was made with a thin nylon strap and came with chrome plated brass buckles and "ring" keepers. PDW chose to use titanium in the rings and buckles for total corrosion resistance on land or under the sea, and 100% non-magnetic as to not interfere with the strap worn compasses such as our EWB-Compass Kit. With the proliferation of rare earth magnets being used in today's bags, wallets, key fobs, and other EDC items, we found that these magnets affected the typical stainless rings used in most Ring type straps on the market. Not only are rare earth magnets harmful to the internal mechanics of a fine mechanical watch, the magnetized stainless steel rings affected any compasses used as supporting accessories on a watch strap. Our Ti-Ring eliminated magnetic interference and offers superior performance and durability in the field.
Please make more Gray 20mm NATO Straps! I need one! I check every day and still sold out. I bought the green 20mm NATO and love it! I want you to take my money, but no gray straps. Thanks for making great products.

Great strap!
Great strap! Soft but not flimsy-it’s in that perfect sweet spot. Great color grey as well-not too dark or light-a “battleship grey.” I prefer to cut off the “extra” part with the front keeper to reduce height of watch on wrist. Quality strap!

Excellent quality watch strap for everyday wear, or diving without worry of rust on the titanium hardware. Comfortable and easy to install.

Nice, but…
*This is my same review for the 22mm strap as I own both.* The strap is nice and looks of good quality. However I was a little disappointed when I saw the “Made in China” sticker on the plastic wrapper that contained the strap. To be fair PDW does not state or imply that it was US made but I kinda feel like I was lead to believe that it was. I don’t mind paying a premium for made in the USA goods and that’s what I thought I was doing here.
Thanks for the review DR. Please note that while we consider this to be a premium product, it is not sold as at a USA-made premium price point. We created an excellent strap with titanium hardware and was able to offer it for sub-$40 by going offshore for production. During our initial development stages, the estimated retail for a USA-made version would have been in excess of $109.00 each. And we felt that it would have been too high for our core consumer, and for us, compounded by excess inventory deadstock resulting from consumer price rejection.
