The Diver-1 Mission Timer features a clear, distinct, and legible dial. A quick glance should be all that is required to note what time it is.

C3 Super-
LumiNova

The generous application of C3 Super-Luminova ensures that the time is legible even in the darkest conditions. Super-LumiNova is a strontium aluminate–based non-radioactive and nontoxic photoluminescent pigments for illuminating markings, typically on watches.

The SPD Edition Ares Diver-1 MIssion Timer comes with the branded OEM rubber strap. Also included is the PDW Ti-RING Strap in orange, and the latest generation of the PDW EWB Compass Kit 2.0. This button sized survival compass has set the high standard in the industry since its inception and adds a whole other layer of functionality to this tool watch. This versatile combination allows the user to know their time and place.

Underscoring the many fine details of this rugged timepiece is the sapphire crystal exhibition caseback. A transparent window on the back of the watch case that allows the user to view of the movement and internal mechanisms. It provides an opportunity to appreciate the craftsmanship and technical details of the watch.

Solid timepiece

Really pleased with the overall fit, finish, and performance. This timepiece seems bulletproof—rugged and ready for whatever I throw at it. I ended up swapping out the safety orange for one of the NATO Black Ti straps. Very pleased with the subdued look and matching hardware. Looking forward to some maritime use OCONUS next month.
