DRB Woodsman Shirt - Navy Blue
7 reviews
The DRB Woodsman Shirt in Melton Wool 1915. Inspired by the best in American heritage outdoor shirt designs and updated with our modern details, fit, and industrial grade construction. For 3 season wear in the wilderness to the workshop.
This is like your grandfather's favorite outdoor shirt he wore to the cabin, or what your father threw on after an early morning session at his favorite break, but better. A modern regular fit for comfort and freedom of movement. Layer over your favorite waffle thermal, use as a light jacket around the campsite when things chill down in the evenings. We sourced the Melton Wool used in the making of this modern classic from an American supplier who has been offering this fabric since 1915. No melt-no drip, insulates when wet, quiet and wears year after year. The chest pockets are sized to fit most non-plus sized smartphones and has one pen-pencil slot for when you use this shirt in the workshop. Double reinforced elbows keeps the typical wear points more durable, a touch borrowed from vintage US Navy type work shirts of a different era, and engineered single arm-side panel construction allow for freedom of arm movement unlike other button up shirts being made today. The DRB Woodsman Shirt is equally at home in the wilderness, at the workshop, or inside the cabin of your favorite overlanding rig. This is a modern classic we think Teddy Roosevelt would have approved of. Available in a classic Navy Blue. Built and crafted in small batches in the USA.
I purchased the DRB Woodsman Shirt for my 21 yr old son. I was very impressed by the quality of the fabric, the 85% wool weave is dense! The quality of construction and the attention to detail is very good. Slotted buttons, reinforced elbows and side pleats on the back make this is a comfortable, long wearing and durable shirt.

Awesome Heavy shirt/light jacket
Works great in 32+ weather when paired with a waffle thermal underneath. 5’8” 200 lbs large fits great. Worn a few times and received many compliments.

Well made, high quality.
I am 5'9, 175lb. Bought a size M.
My only gripe is that I wish the shirt length was just an inch or two longer. Otherwise it fits perfectly.
The build quality of the shirt is very well made. All of the areas that tend to wear down or fail first have been thoughtfully reinforced and "overbuilt."
It rides the line perfectly between a light jacket and a shirt that I can just wear over a T-shirt.
