An explorer's tool and for those who find a way, or make one. Newly updated, a best grade, versatile, amphibious-rated, EDC and Field compass accessory that can be worn on a nylon NATO to MN Para type watch bands in 20mm to 22mm, or in its silicone carrier for multiple carry options. Our button compass unit is rated to a depth of 100M/300' and encapsulated in the lowest profile, precision machined titanium case available today. The kit includes four colors of silicone carriers. Available in the satin/polished finish to match watch cases with similar finishes.

The new split back design allows for the mounting of these to closed-loop type watch bands like the Marine Nationale Para variety. And of course these will slide over your standard NATO type bands as well. 

4 Silicone
Carriers Included

In addition to compatibility with a number of nylon-centric watch bands, our Expedition Watch Band Compass Kit 2.0 now also includes all 4 colors of silicone carriers. Change out the differently colored carriers to your liking or needs. The gray, OD green, and orange feature UV inhibitors to prevent fading and the 4th is glow-in-the-dark.

  • Compass: Oil Filled with an Acetyl Cellulose Body
    • Note that oil filled compasses of any type may have tiny bubbles appear and disappear over time. This is a natural result of changes in altitude and barometric pressure in your area of use. These tiny bubbles, if they do appear, do not affect the accuracy or function of the your compass in any way.

Cool compass

Nice compass that complements my watch well. It’s not too large and is stable with the retention band.

Perfect mate to my Rolex!

I had to cut a small Ranger band in half to sandwich the Compass on the strap as it is a 20/22mm set up and my Bond Zulu strap is 20mm for the 5513. I hate stuff that rattles or moves and this works and the compass looks awesome in this setup! Now to get a black one for my vintage Traser dive watch.

Whereth the time has gone?

If you’re constantly looking at your watch wondering “where has the time gone?”, this TiP housed button compass will surely show you the way! As you’d expect from PDW, the quality and fit n finish are top notch and leave little to be desired! My unit didn’t have the o-rings to lock it down on my Vaer 20mm NATO strap, but PDW’s fantastic customer support sent them out to me toot suite and now I’ll always know where the time has gone. Bravo!

Great fit for NATO straps

Fits thin NATO straps great, won't fit the leather backed WOE straps. Compass seems accurate enough for a small button type.
