While I was scrolling PDW to check for new goodies to snatch I came across what it seems to be soap bars. I chuckled I bit because I thought PDW hopped on the soap wagon and made what I imagined clever outdoors soap bars: bright orange none so if you drop the soap you can find it easy (citrus scent), a grey one in case you take the grey man mentality very seriously (activated carbon) and a glow in the dark soap (lime ice cream scent), now I have never seen one on the market and since PDW come with clever products I was confident they would be the first ones. So I went head and ordered a pack of this outdoor soap bars.
The day USPS send me a text letting me know my package was arriving I jumped with glee and landed on a pool of mud and trash intentionally so when I came back home smelling like a true outdoors man who haven seen a shower head in months. Back home the box where the soaps came in had a slit so you could get a hint of the scents but I couldn’t get any, “no problem” I said “you probably need to soak them first to activate the scent”. Pulling them out of the box and feeling them for the first time was a unique experience, they didn’t had the regular soap feel. They where smooth but with a grippy feel “wow, the guys at PDW think about everything, they made anti-slip soaps so you never need to worry about getting you soap bar on the floor and having to bend over to pick it up” this made me think if jails already had this, anyway I checked on the web page what this soaps where all about and to my surprise they where not soaps but pods to organize gear and cables. “Oh well, they look pretty and can finally organize all my cable mess”.
After that I proceeded to take a long shower to get clean from all the dirt and grime I smeared purposeful with regular soap and not with tactical-outdoorsy, feature rich PDW brand soap. Please show my story to the PDW crew so they can make soap.
