The Raider Field Short in Technical Ripstop is a best in class, made in the USA, wilderness field short. On average, users get a minimum of 5 years wear out of our shorts. PDW apparel is built to last. Expertly made in an all season, 6.1oz mini-ripstop fabric, that we custom milled and added stretch for additional mobility and a notable increase in comfort. The TRS material has an excellent strength to weight ratio, well suited for warm to hot weather and fully amphibious. With many considerations for today’s user and the EDC tribe, there are 13 low profile pockets in a clean utility-purpose driven styling, and without creating a cluttered or bulky design. This is the short version of our Raider Field Pant. Available in our Transitional Field Green. #raiderfieldshort
Like most of our designs, we use industrial grade construction methods such as heavy duty nylon thread, triple needle stitching on major seams, and more bar-tacks to reinforce stress points than any other short in its class. The cut and silhouette is a tailored regular fit in keeping with its understated and streamlined appearance, yet a fully capable intent. The Raider Field Short TRS is equally at home in the field, pack rafting, behind the wheel of your 4x4, adventure travel, or a summer getaway at the cabin. Design highlights include no-twist custom d-rings, horseshoe gusset, diamond double seat, dedicated knife-multitool pockets, work wear style hand pockets which are accessible when using a pack waist or utility to first line belt, a Hide-Away pocket to stash those little "extras". PDW slotted parasmock type no-loss buttons, and reinforced double layer seat. Designed and built to last in California USA.
My only regret was not getting a couple more pairs.
The Raider Field Short TRS is outstanding; the material dries super quickly and breathes well, the pocket layout allows nice weight distribution for someone who carries too much stuff in their pockets. Sadly, I waited for these to arrive so I could try them on before ordering them in the two other colors, and now that’s not an option.
