We studied the many fine details required in the making our ramen bowl. Of the seven standard Japanese ramen bowl shapes, we choose the "Tayoudon". This type of bowl is typically found in high end ramen shops, and "Tayoudon" literally translates as "multi-purpose bowl". This shape of bowl is not only perfect for ramen, but also equally well suited for udon, soba, pho, to hearty stews, chili and more. Making our bowl 8" / 20.5cm in diameter and 45oz / 1350ml size and volume, means that while serving your ramen, the golden proportion of 70-80% food to volume ratio can be achieved while plating. Many of us know that well prepared meals taste best when savored in the great outdoors. There are precious few things that are heirloom items these days. Mechanical watches, firearms, jewelry, land…Like most of PDWs titanium items, this is something I could likely pass on after I’m gone. Double walled so the soup stays hot but your fingers don’t burn holding the bowl. Super lightweight when every little weight savings count when you’re loading up the truck to take the family camping. This is an item you’ve never thought of but it makes sense. Use it at home and for camping!

Ti Ramen Bowl
Looks good and bigger than it looks in pictures. I will enjoy using it. I have Ti hashi that I crafted now I just need a ramen spoon made of Ti.

Bought it because I was tired of burning my hands and/or spilling anything I put in smaller camp bowls. Am totally happy with the size, weight (or lack of), and quality. Would buy again but shouldn’t ever need to.

Great HIgh Quality Bowl
This is great lightweight bowl you can take camping or use around house. Its larger so carrying in pack might be a challenge but well worth the effort. Insulated bowl with soft edges makes all the difference. As usual - super quality!
