The PDW Ti-Ring Strap is an updated version of the classic, military issue, nylon watch strap. Our modern version features heavier duty, custom made titanium rings and buckle, with a sturdy, thicker, yet pliable and comfortable nylon strap.
The "NATO" or "G10" strap originally entered service in 1973 with the British Ministry of Defence. It was made with a thin nylon strap and came with chrome plated brass buckles and "ring" keepers. PDW chose to use titanium in the rings and buckles for total corrosion resistance on land or under the sea, and 100% non-magnetic as to not interfere with the strap worn compasses such as our EWB-Compass Kit. With the proliferation of rare earth magnets being used in today's bags, wallets, key fobs, and other EDC items, we found that these magnets affected the typical stainless rings used in most Ring type straps on the market. Not only are rare earth magnets harmful to the internal mechanics of a fine mechanical watch, the magnetized stainless steel rings affected any compasses used as supporting accessories on a watch strap. Our Ti-Ring eliminated magnetic interference and offers superior performance and durability in the field.
I bought 2 of these, a black one and a green, to use on my Sinn U1-T. The finish on the titanium hardware is very close to a match with the watch finish. They look and feel great after wearing the watch on the factory bracelet for 6 years..nice to change it up and I appreciate the security of a NATO strap after losing a watch overboard years ago from a srpingbar falure.. I use the Marathon shoulderless in this application, they are beefy and strong

The best NATO strap I've found
This is an update on my previous review ( I apologize to PDW as they do not control the mail flow) and I finally received the product.
I ordered 2 titanium straps to go with both of my titanium dive watches.
I was looking for a NATO strap that didn't have the oblong rings. These straps do not disappoint.
The strap length when fitted to the watch is approximately 12 1/4 inches from edge of clasp clasp to material tip and a little over 11 1/2 inches from edge of material to tip. They are true NATO length and as an active diver I do not need an extension to wear over my wetsuit. The material is of a medium thickness with a tight weave and texture that grips easily with the fingers but is not noticeable when worn next to the skin. The holes seem to be laser cut and are spaced 1/4 inch apart for fine adjustment. The stitching is tight and the square buckles look amazing. The band is extremely light, appears to breathe well, and is visually appealing.
I would highly recommend this band for anyone looking for a top of the line, quality, NATO watch band.
It was well worth the wait!
Thank you for the review Michael!

haven't received product yet
I am only giving this review 1 star as it has been over 14 days and I have not received the product yet and I find it hard to believe that it takes that long to ship from the U.S.A. into Canada
Hi Michael, thanks so much for the crappy 1-Star review based soley on the speed of 1st Classs International mail. If you examine the tracking information provided by USPS, you can see your order was promptly shipped on the 26th, the same day you placed your order. While we take full accountability for your order, we are not involved in ANY way how USPS and Canada Post actually handles your package, but at the same time must place in our trust in USPS and Canada Post to do their jobs. Canada Post is notorious for clearing Canadian Customs and you can see by your tracking info, it has been processing through YOUR country's customs system for some time now. We truly hope your receive your order soon and can actually enjoy the watch strap. In the meantime, we suppose you must find some manner of satisfaction in your retalitory review. Cheers!

Cool strap!
This is my first NATO strap and won’t be my last. I run it on my Seiko Samurai and love the practicality of it. The fit is very adjustable and it is lightweight and comfortable.

Sehr gut!
...aber mit Versand, Zoll und Gebühren hab ich das doppelte von dem bezahlt was das Armband kostet. Bitte sucht Euch einen Vertriebspartner in Europa!
