The PDW Ti-Ring Strap is an updated version of the classic, military issue, nylon watch strap. Our modern version features heavier duty, custom made titanium rings and buckle, with a sturdy, thicker, yet pliable and comfortable nylon strap.
The “NATO” or "G10" strap originally entered service in 1973 with the British Ministry of Defence. It was made with a thin nylon strap and came with chrome plated brass buckles and "ring" keepers. PDW chose to use titanium in the rings and buckles for total corrosion resistance on land or under the sea, and 100% non-magnetic as to not interfere with the strap worn compasses such as our EWB-Compass Kit. With the proliferation of rare earth magnets being used in today's bags, wallets, key fobs, and other EDC items, we found that these magnets affected the typical stainless rings used in most NATO type straps on the market. Not only are rare earth magnets harmful to the internal mechanics of a fine mechanical watch, the magnetized stainless steel rings affected any compasses used as supporting accessories on a watch strap. Our Ti-Ring eliminated magnetic interference and offers superior performance and durability in the field.
Expertly made. Much more robust than the typical NATO strap.

Solid
Super light but solid. The titanium is more brushed/matte than I thought so be careful if you’re trying to match the hardware to a titanium watch (like me).

Amazing Watch Strap
I can’t say enough good things about this strap, especially if a fan of natos. The design and materials are in a league of their own.

Short
This is advertised as being long enough for XL wrists. It is definitely not. I have 8” wrists and I can’t fold over any remainder on this it barely gets through both keepers. Same with the 1 piece elastic strap it is to small. They have found themselves in the strap bin of disappointment. The overall fit and finish was good just don’t like they are advertised as longer
Hmm..that seems odd. Pls drop us a line at support@pdw.life for an return or echange. This might be a left over from our very first gen, which are not as long as they are now. Thanks.

Feels like Air on my Wrist, but webbing is too thin?
I am super happy with this watch hand for my Seiko King Turtle Automatic Diver. I don’t even notice the feeling of the watch hand on my wrist. However, even after a few days, the holes on the band are widening and pulling, making me wonder how much they will warp over time. Perhaps using a slightly thicker webbing with super tight weave would help this? I would love to see this improvement. Everything else so far seems awesome.
