All Terrain Duffel 45L
-
Overview
PDW builds gear for people who do not get to choose their weather. The All Terrain Duffel 45L was developed for adventurers and outdoor professionals who needed a bag that could survive submersion, not just resist a splash. The result is a duffel with a true IPX7 waterproof main compartment, high frequency welded seams, and a spring loaded inflator valve that lets you purge air for compression or add it back in for buoyancy in the water. Built from 1000D and 600D recycled RPET, the All Terrain Duffel 45L keeps plastic out of the waste stream without giving up abrasion resistance or structure. Padded haul handles, removable shoulder straps, a webbing daisy chain, and a loop panel for morale patches make it as much at home strapped to a pack frame as it is loaded into a truck bed or lashed to a raft. -

FAQ
PDW All Terrain Duffel 45L - FAQ
Is the All Terrain Duffel 45L actually waterproof, or just water resistant?
The main compartment carries an IPX7 rating, which means it is built to keep water out even when submerged, not just when it's raining. High frequency welded seams and a YKK Vislon Aquaseal® watertight main zipper keep the waterproofing consistent across the whole compartment, not just the fabric panels.
What does the inflator valve actually do?
The spring loaded inflator valve lets you push air into the duffel to add buoyancy in the water or purge air out to compress your load for transport. It is the same detail that gives the bag its amphibious rating.
Can I remove the shoulder straps?
Yes. The padded shoulder straps are fully removable, so you can carry the All Terrain Duffel 45L by the padded haul handles alone when you do not need them.
What is RPET and why does PDW use it?
RPET stands for recycled polyester, made from post consumer plastic rather than new petroleum. PDW uses 1000D and 600D RPET in the All Terrain Duffel 45L because it holds up to the same abrasion and load bearing demands as virgin fabric without adding new plastic to the supply chain.
How much gear fits in the 45L Duffel?
45 liters, or about 2,750 cubic inches, is enough room for a full three day load out for most users, plus an interior zippered pocket to keep smaller items separated from the main compartment.
Will the All Terrain Duffel 45L fit as airline carry-on?
The All Terrain Duffel 45L measures 20 x 12 x 11 inches. Check your specific airline's carry-on dimensions before you fly, since limits vary by carrier.
