The All Terrain Pack 24L is waterproof rated to IPX7, with a YKK Aquaseal® waterproof main zipper and fully welded seams that keep your load out dry in real submersion, not just rain. An external zippered pocket keeps smaller items within reach. Built from 1000D recycled RPET, it's rated amphibious and built for packrafting, kayaking, and any day that starts wet.     This day pack is designed for any weather and built for those who live and work in and around water. The 24L capacity holds a full day's load out, with external and internal zippered pockets for organization and a thermomolded, padded back panel for all day comfort. A center daisy chain, three delta-ring clip points, four cinch straps for rod tubes or take-down paddles, a removable padded waist belt, and a loop panel for morale patches round out the details.


    One of the defining features of the AT Pack 24L is the built in inflator nozzle. The spring loaded valve makes it simple to deflate the pack for compression or inflate it for buoyancy, turning it into a field expedient flotation aid when needed. The AT Pack 24L is amphibious rated, versatile, and built for all terrain adventures on and off the grid.

    Great Go Anywhere Backpack (could ditch the belt)

    This is an awesome bag to bring anywhere and everywhere. My gear stays dry when camping; traveling or infiltrating Latin America (a la Goldfinger). The only change I would make is to ditch the belt (and its associated cost) for a more streamlined, minimalist carrying profile.

    Highly Recommended

    I was waiting for a few years to purchase this bag mainly because of Covid - 19 restrictions not being able to send it to Japan.

    The wait was well worth it both the backpack and the duffle bag were of outstanding quality.

    As soon as they arrived slapped them on the roof of my SUV and went for camping. Rain and snow both on the way to the mountains and also mud in the forest.

    Not a single drop of water inside and all my clothes were fresh.

    Not only the backpack does as advertised but looks great and the quality is higher than expected. ( have been disappointed a few times from other makers before )

    Looking forward bringing it snow camping next weekend again in more severe conditions now that I tested it already.

    Very comfortable as well I hiked about 17 km with it today with no issues.

    You gained a lifetime customer here. It’s that good.

    Absolutely the perfect pack for water born missions!

    Excellent pack. Extremely well made. I bought the pack and both duffels due to my PNW roots, RIB boating and SUP paddling, and a desperate need for alpine lakes. All of them are excellent, and built to last. On my last SUP paddle/camp instead of carrying my large duffel down a 50' rock cliff, I gave it a toss with all of my gear inside, and it floated as expected!

    Great pack so far

    Great pack in water-oriented conditions. Used as a transport for gear while island hopping and fishing in the Bahamas. To be able to toss it off the boat directly into the water when inflated is pretty cool. Noticing the metal zipper housing is showing some corrosion from the salt, which is the only negative so far. Super comfortable when shouldered with a heavier load and love the ability to move and attach everything I need.

    The pack missing from my lineup

    Been always looking for a durable, waterproof or even submersible pack for my island or packrafting adventures. This void was not easy to fill especially when being picky on functionality and looks. The AT24L had both with the hiking backpack look but with submersible qualities. And I reckon its about $100 cheaper than the competition. It feels comfy and had supportive hip belts plus I get to use my PDW morale patches on it. Inflator nozzle was a plus point which competitors didn't have.

    PDW All Terrain Pack 24L - FAQ

    Is the All Terrain Pack 24L actually waterproof, or just water resistant?

    The main compartment carries an IPX7 rating and closes with a YKK Aquaseal® waterproof main zipper, so it is built to keep water out under real submersion, not just rain or splash. Fully welded seams keep that waterproofing consistent across the whole pack, not just the fabric panels.

    What does the inflator valve do?

    The spring loaded inflator valve lets you push air into the pack for buoyancy in the water or purge it out to compress your load for carry. It's the same feature that gives the pack its amphibious rating.

    Can I remove the waist belt and sternum strap?

    Yes. The padded waist belt is fully removable, and the sternum strap is removable and adjustable, so you can dial in the fit or strip the pack down for a minimal carry.

    What is RPET and why does PDW use it?

    RPET stands for recycled polyester, made from post consumer plastic rather than new petroleum. PDW uses 1000D RPET in the All Terrain Pack 24L because it holds up to the same abrasion and load demands as virgin fabric without adding new plastic to the supply chain.

    How much gear fits in the 24L Pack?

    24 liters, or about 1,465 cubic inches, is enough room for a full day's load out for most users, with interior and exterior zippered pockets to keep smaller items separated from the main compartment.

    Can the All Terrain Pack 24L carry a fishing rod tube or paddle?

    Yes. Four quick release cinch straps on the exterior are built to carry rod tubes, take down paddles, or similar gear alongside the main compartment.
